I am always on the look out for interesting web2.0 apps, so when I saw this one (still in beta), I had to give it a try purely out of curiosity of the “photo/face scanning” technology. I can’t say that I am completely impressed with the results. Looks like I will have to get up to date with the Canto pop, J-pop and K-pop scene to find out who some of these guys are. Apparently Won Bin is a Korean actor. Can’t say I know any of his work though. Mao Zedong on the other hand is an interesting one. Perhaps its time I took the Great Leap Forward. So comrades if you’re game, give it a go here.

I wouldn’t have picked you for a communist tyrant but I always had my suspicions that you wore a skirt on the weekends.
Perhaps the recognition software isn’t as obscure as you think…
