Water Terrorism

November
So, did anyone catch the ugly violence in Melbourne over the weekend? I don’t really want to dwell on the violence itself - the pictures on any news agency speak volumes. What I want to know is what happened to the water canons that seem popular in other countries?
Wait a minute. Could it have something to do with the Stage 2 water restrictions Melbourne is currently under? Considering the fines in place for breaking these restrictions, does it mean this twit should expect a fine in the mail sometime soon? One can only hope…

Since we are avoiding any serious comment on the subject… nice use of Photoshop or any equivelant Mac product. Guess our IT baby is slowly growing up! (PS: If you are trying to appear impartial, then don’t give your post a slug title of “rioters and thugs”. Just a little transparent).

Impartial? Do I look like Marcia Hynes?!?
Mate, I fully advocate the police loading their weapons with rubber bullets for these protests. Why? Because I know I won’t be on the end of one because I voice my opinion with my VOTE. The people who were tossing garbage cans at police would just as soon crack you over the head for your outspoken opinions. That wasn’t a protest - that was blatant vandalism. The only difference between those scenes and Baghdad were that nobody was killed in Melbourne. Same thug mentality. I have plenty of opinions on what happened last weekend, I just chose to take a different spin.
As for my title, it was a work in progress and I posted under the wrong title. Add to that, I’m all for transparency - the clearer we all are, the better. Those who perpetrated the violence, FUCKING THUGS.
How’s that for transparency?
